What does "viewers" mean in the pricing?
A viewer is one concurrent playback session, meaning one device watching at the same moment. Pricing is per concurrent viewer per month. Someone who watches for ten minutes and leaves frees that slot for the next person.
How is the price calculated?
Monthly price = rate per viewer x viewers (or the flat Unlimited price). Packages can also give a volume offer: a fixed percentage comes off the price of each extra block of viewers you add beyond the package's starting number. For longer terms we multiply by the months and subtract the term discount. The calculator on the pricing page shows every step.
Are prices inclusive of GST?
No. Prices on this website exclude GST. The calculator shows the GST amount and the final payable total, and a GST invoice is available in the portal.
Which protocols can I use?
Publish with RTMP or SRT. Play back over HLS or MPEG-DASH. Restream channels can pull from .m3u8, .mpd or rtmp:// sources. Which outputs are active is set per channel in the portal.
Open URL or tokenised URL: which should I use?
You choose per channel. An open URL is a plain playback address that anyone with the link can play, which is simplest for public channels. A tokenised URL carries a secret token that you can limit and switch off at any time, which suits paid or private channels and resellers. In both cases the number of concurrent viewers is limited by the package you choose. Your publish key is always separate from playback links.
What latency should I expect?
It depends on the protocol. SRT and RTMP are typically a few seconds end to end, LL-HLS a few seconds more, and standard HLS/DASH around 8 to 20 seconds. Use the latency checker on this site to measure your distance to our nearest edge.
Where are your servers?
Our CDN is live in Coimbatore, Chennai and Tirupur, with Bengaluru and Mumbai coming soon and more cities planned across India.
Can I restream someone else's channel?
Only content you own or have written permission to distribute. Streams that infringe copyright or licensing are removed and the account is suspended.
How do I manage my channels?
In the customer portal: create channels, get RTMP/SRT/HLS/DASH URLs, issue access keys, watch live viewers and bandwidth, top up your wallet and download GST invoices.
Can I change my package later?
Yes. Contact us or create a new channel on a different package from the portal.
What happens if more viewers than my package allows try to watch?
The package sets how many viewers can watch at the same time. Extra viewers cannot start playing until a slot frees up, so choose a size that covers your peak audience, or choose Unlimited. You can move to a bigger package whenever you need to.
Do bigger audiences get a discount?
Yes, where a package offers it. The percentage is fixed and applies only to the extra viewers. For example, on a package at 100 rupees per viewer with an offer of 2% on every extra 10 viewers after 20: 30 viewers means one extra block of 10 (1,000 rupees), so 20 rupees off; 40 viewers means two blocks, so 40 rupees off. Longer terms (3, 6 and 12 months) give a further discount on top. The pricing page shows each package's own offer.
