About
Streaming infrastructure from Tamil Nadu, for India.
Tamil Streams builds and runs the servers behind live channels, IPTV services and creator streams, so smaller broadcasters do not need to build a data centre to look reliable.
Why we built it
Local cable operators, regional channels and independent creators in India often depend on overseas platforms or a single rented server. When the route is long or the box falls over, the audience sees a spinning wheel and the channel loses viewers.
We put our own CDN inside India, starting where we work: Coimbatore, Chennai, Tirupur. We price it in rupees, per viewer, with GST invoices, and we give every customer a portal to run things themselves.
How we work
- Plain pricing that you can calculate before you speak to anyone
- Our own edge servers, tuned for live video
- Your choice of open or tokenised playback, viewer limits and separate publish keys
- People you can reach on the phone when a stream is down
Where we are going
Bengaluru and Mumbai are being commissioned and more cities will follow. If your audience is somewhere we are not yet, tell us. It helps us decide where to build next.
