Tamil Streams ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Arun Kumar, an individual based in India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Tamil Streams mobile application (the "App") and our website, how we use it, how payment information is processed, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. You can use the App as a Guest, or sign in using your Email address or Google Account. If you sign in with Google, we may receive basic profile information such as your name, email address and profile picture, as provided through Google Sign-In.

Usage data. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used, including information such as which channels, languages or genres are viewed or interacted with, how long the App is used, and which features are accessed. This information helps us improve the App and its features.

Crash and diagnostic data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports, error information and performance diagnostics. This helps us identify, diagnose and fix technical problems with the App.

Advertising identifiers. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect information such as your device advertising identifier and certain technical information for advertising, measurement and fraud-prevention purposes. Depending on your device settings and applicable laws, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised.

Device and technical information. We may automatically receive certain technical information when you use the App or website, including device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, browser information and other diagnostic or technical information.

Payment and transaction information. If you purchase a paid service, subscription or other service from Tamil Streams, payments may be processed through one or more third-party payment gateways. Depending on the payment method and transaction, the relevant payment gateway or payment service provider may process information such as your name, email address, mobile number, billing information, transaction details and payment-related information. Payment service providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

We do not intentionally store complete debit card numbers, credit card numbers, CVV numbers, UPI PINs, banking passwords or other payment credentials on our own servers. Payment credentials are handled by the applicable payment gateway, payment service provider and relevant financial institutions involved in the transaction.

4. Payments Through Third-Party Payment Gateways

Tamil Streams uses one or more third-party payment gateways and payment service providers to process certain payments, subscriptions or other paid services offered through the App or website.

When you make a payment, you may be required to provide information necessary to complete the transaction, such as your name, email address, mobile number and other billing or transaction information. Depending on the payment method selected, the applicable payment gateway, banks, card networks, UPI providers or other payment service providers may process payment-related information.

We do not request or intentionally store your UPI PIN, banking password, CVV or complete card credentials on our own servers. Payment processing is handled through the applicable third-party payment gateway and relevant payment networks or financial institutions.

Payment gateways and payment service providers may process transaction and personal information in accordance with their respective privacy policies, terms and applicable laws.

For payment-related issues, refunds or transaction disputes, you may contact us using the contact information provided below. Where appropriate, we may need to provide relevant transaction information to the applicable payment gateway, payment provider or other service provider to investigate and resolve the issue.

5. Live TV Channels

Tamil Streams indexes and links to Free-to-Air (FTA) satellite channels and Indian private local channels that are publicly broadcast or made available by their respective broadcasters or networks.

We do not intentionally record, re-host or modify the underlying broadcast content where the App only provides links or access to publicly available streams. Availability of individual channels may change depending on the respective broadcaster, network, stream provider or other technical circumstances.

Tamil Streams does not share your personal viewing history with broadcasters unless required by law or necessary to provide a particular third-party service.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or allow access to limited information with service providers that help us operate Tamil Streams, including Google services, Firebase, Google AdMob and third-party payment gateways or payment service providers. Such information may be processed for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer support and other services necessary to operate the App.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, court order, government authority or legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, services or security.

7. Payment Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Tamil Streams. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.

Payment transactions are processed through applicable third-party payment gateways, payment networks or financial institutions. We do not intentionally store complete payment instrument credentials such as full card numbers, CVV numbers or UPI PINs on our own servers.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal, account, usage and transaction-related information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or for other legitimate purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Where information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymise it, subject to applicable legal, accounting, security and transaction-record requirements.

9. Children's Privacy

Tamil Streams is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Your Choices and Rights

• You can use the App as a Guest without creating an account.
• You can reset your advertising identifier or manage personalised advertising through your device settings, where available.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we hold about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-keeping requirements.
• You may contact us regarding questions or concerns about how your information is processed.
• You may stop using the App or website at any time.

11. Refunds, Cancellations and Payment Disputes

Where Tamil Streams offers paid subscriptions or other paid services, applicable pricing, subscription duration, cancellation and refund terms will be displayed to you before or during the purchase process.

Refund requests should normally be submitted to us using the contact details provided below and should include sufficient transaction information to allow us to identify the payment.

Approved refunds, where applicable, may be processed through the applicable third-party payment gateway or payment service provider and are generally returned to the original payment method, subject to the applicable payment provider's processing procedures.

Refund eligibility may depend on the service purchased, whether the service has been activated or used, technical issues, duplicate or erroneous payments, applicable law and the specific refund terms presented at the time of purchase.

Third-party payment gateways and payment service providers are responsible for processing payment transactions. Questions concerning the Tamil Streams service itself should be directed to us.

12. Account and Service Availability

We may modify, suspend or discontinue certain App features, channels, services or functionality from time to time due to technical requirements, maintenance, changes in third-party services, broadcaster availability, legal requirements or other operational reasons.

We do not guarantee that every channel, stream or feature will remain available at all times.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, payment providers, third-party services or applicable legal requirements.

Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Tamil Streams after an updated Privacy Policy is published constitutes your acknowledgement of the updated policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
